The current King Snakes' line-up - which includes Paul Lamb's long-time guitarist Johnny Whitehill and new singer Earl Green (both are British Blues Connection award-winners in their own right) have been together for two years. Having carved out a mighty reputation as a Live band, it makes sense to try and capture the power and excitement of their performance on CD. To make this a truly memorable night, the album - which is being recorded at one of the band's most popular venues, the celebrated 100 Club - is being turned around in less than a week with an eye to its inclusion in The Guinness Book Of Records.
